By purchasing a product, the buyer agrees to all terms and conditions below.

Disclaimer

All information on verochair.is (stock status, prices, etc.) is published with the reservation of errors. VeroChair reserves the right to refuse orders or change delivery times if necessary.

Data storage

VeroChair will store all data that the buyer checks when purchasing a product/s. VeroChair will not share this data with third parties in accordance with privacy laws.

Delivery of goods

All orders are distributed by the Post Office. The Post Office's delivery, warranty and transport terms apply to the delivery of goods from the Post Office. The Post Office's terms and conditions are available on the company's website. Every effort is made to process all orders the next business day after the order is placed. If the product is not in stock, an employee will contact you and inform you of the estimated delivery time of the product.

Published price

VeroChair reserves the right to change prices within the online store without prior notice.

Taxes and fees

All prices in the online store include VAT and invoices are issued with VAT.

Payment methods

We accept payments from all major credit cards. We also offer payment via Netgíró, where you can spread payments or have an invoice sent. Please note that shipping will not begin until full payment has been received by VeroChair.is.

Shipping costs are displayed when ordering products and depend on the delivery method chosen by the buyer.

Confidentiality

The Seller promises the Buyer complete confidentiality regarding all information provided by the Buyer in connection with the transaction. Information from the Buyer will not be disclosed to third parties under any circumstances.

Use of personal information

Emails and other communications from our systems may use personal information such as residence, age, email address, or transaction history (this list is not exhaustive), to tailor relevant messages to our mailing list members. This information is never provided to third parties. VeroChair mailing list members can always unsubscribe and thus deny the company the use of such information.

Warranty terms
Products covered by the two-year warranty terms

A two-year warranty covers all VeroChair products and is purchased directly from VeroChair.is.

Who is responsible?

The warranty extends only to the original purchaser or, in the case of a gift, the original recipient. The "original purchaser" in these terms and conditions is the person who first purchased the luggage from VeroChair. The "original recipient" is the person who first received the product as a gift from the original purchaser. All warranties from VeroChair, including all implied warranties, are valid only for the period the product is in the possession of the original purchaser or recipient. A COPY OF THE PURCHASE RECEIPT IS REQUIRED TO PROVE THE VALIDITY OF THE WARRANTY.

VeroChair warranties are non-transferable and do not apply if the product is used for commercial or rental purposes.

What defects does the warranty cover?
THIS WARRANTY COVERS THE FOLLOWING DEFECTS:

• Manufacturing defects.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING:

• "Appearance defects" such as scratches, stains, discoloration, normal wear and tear, technical obsolescence or other changes in appearance that do not affect the functionality of the chair.
• Replacement of an entire chair and only one part is defective. Only the defective part will be replaced.
• Product sold "as is", "refurbished", "used", "returned" or with other similar descriptions that imply that the product is not new or first-class.

Your responsibilities

If a defect occurs and you wish to make use of this warranty, you must return the product to VeroChiar and provide proof of the original date of purchase. If shipping costs are necessary to return the luggage, you are not responsible for those costs. Proof of defect and all claims must be sent to the email address provided at the end of these warranty terms.

VeroChair will repair or replace the product (as applicable) and ship it back to you within 60 days of receipt of the original product. You will not be responsible for any shipping costs.

Disagreement

If a dispute arises between a seller and a customer, the customer can contact the Complaints Board for Goods and Services Purchases, Borgartún 21, 105 Reykjavík. The board operates on the basis of Act No. 81/2019 and is an independent and public arbitration board that adjudicates disputes between consumers and sellers regarding most types of contracts for the purchase of goods and services (www.kvth.is).

Defense Assembly

This agreement is governed by Icelandic law. If a dispute arises in connection with it, it shall be brought before an Icelandic court. The provisions of the Act on Door-to-Door and Distance Selling No. 46/0000, the provisions of the Act on the Purchase of Personal Property No. 50/2000, as applicable, and the provisions of the Act on Consumer Purchases No. 48/2003, as well as the provisions of the Act on Consumer Contracts, No. 16/2016, apply to these terms and conditions.
